Special Message from Amy Button Renz
Amy Button Renz

Hello. I am Amy Button Renz, president and CEO of the K-State Alumni Association, and I want to congratulate you on your graduation from Kansas State University and your official status as an alumnus.

Our mission at the Alumni Association is to “enhance our Kansas State University family through lifelong involvement.” That means we work diligently to keep our alumni involved with the university through a variety of activities and programs.

One of the primary ways we keep alumni updated is through the award-winning K-Stater magazine, sent four times a year to Association members. The magazine is full of feature articles and other news about K-State, its alumni, students and faculty. A Class Notes section keeps graduates updated on their fellow classmates and other alumni.

In addition to the magazine, the Association also has a free, monthly electronic newsletter. You can sign up to receive it by visiting our Web site at www.K-State.com.

All nine colleges purchase a gift membership in the Alumni Association for their graduates. We hope you will continue your membership to stay updated on what's happening on campus, but more importantly, to show your Wildcat pride now that you have earned your degree from one of the finest universities in the country. Your K-State Alumni Association is proud to rank No. 1 in the Big 12 Conference for the percentage of graduates who are members, and you can help keep us at the top.

I'd also like to invite you to visit the K-State Alumni Center, which was totally funded through private donations. With more than 150,000 graduates, we are excited to have a home for alumni when they return to campus.

Again, congratulations on your graduation, and welcome to the K-State family.
