The Analytic Element Method (AEM) provides a methodology to understand a variety of applications in engineering and science, such as groundwater flow, unsaturated flow, and elasticity. Founded in analytic function theory and grounded in modern computational technology, the AEM has evolved into a powerful solution technique capable of addressing problems as complicated as NAGROM, the NAtional GROundwater Model for The Netherlands.

This conference aims to explore recent advances and applications using the Analytic Element Method, such as:

  • GIS applications and geodatabase design
  • Recent mathematical developments
  • New applications in engineering and science
  • Field applications

This conference occurs every three years and has previously been hosted by:
Indiana University
RIZA (held in Amsterdam, The Netherlands)
University of Minnesota
Ecole des Mines, Saint-Etienne, France
