Distance Master's Degrees

The College of Engineering at Kansas State University offers master's degrees via distance education in chemical, civil, electrical, mechanical, and software engineering, and engineering management. All of the courses are offered online except for a very few, which are delivered via CD-Rom, videotape, or a combination of media. The distance courses are exactly the same as the courses offered on campus, and a distance student's diploma and transcript will be identical to an on-campus student's.

Students never need to come to campus for any coursework. Most degree programs do require a campus visit after all coursework is completed so that the final exam can be conducted with the student's graduate committee.
