Hotel Information

Le Centre Sheraton Montréal Hotel is located in the heart of Montréal, within walking distance of several tourist attractions. Le Centre Sheraton Montréal features 825 guest rooms, a complimentary fitness center, an indoor heated pool, and a whirlpool to help guests.

Hotel Reservation Information

A block of guest rooms has been reserved for Joint Meeting participants. A group rate of CDN $189 per night plus applicable taxes has been arranged from July 21-28, 2007. Currently, applicable taxes include a municipal occupancy tax of $2 per room, per night; federal sales tax of 7%, and provincial sales tax of 7.5%. This rate may include up to four room occupants; children and other accompanying adults are welcome.

All hotel reservations must be guaranteed with a deposit equal to one night’s room and tax, which, upon check-in, will be applied to the first night of reserved stay. Deposits paid by individuals are refundable if notice is received at least 72 hours prior to arrival and a cancellation number is obtained.

Reservation Deadline

Hotel reservations must be made and secured by June 30, 2008. Reservations received after 5 p.m. local time at the hotel on this cut-off date will be honored at the hotel’s prevailing rate, based on availability.

Make your reservation early by calling the Sheraton’s Central Reservation Office at 1-800-325-3535. Be sure to state that you are with the Joint Meeting of Ichthyologists and Herpetologists.

Check-In Time: 3 p.m.
Check-Out Time: Noon

The hotel will require an early departure charge for all guests who depart one or more days prior to their scheduled departure date. Departure dates are reconfirmed at check-in, and the fee will apply if departure date is changed after the check-in process is completed.
