Bachelor's Degree Completion Program

Oriented toward students who have encountered obstacles to traditional college attendance, and it helps them surmount barriers created by distance, by physical limitation, or by job. The program offers assistance in completing requirements for a K-State baccalaureate degree.
Business Office

Functions as the central accounting unit for the Division of Continuing Education. Services include preparation and maintenance of Division staff personnel lists and organizational chart; most personnel functions; compensation of instructors and Division staff for salary and travel; student payroll; accounts payable and receivable; purchasing; reconciliation of accounts between the Division accounting system and the university Controllers Office records; and accounting for costs by credit courses and conferences.
Conferences and Non-Credit Programs

Extends Kansas State University's resources to participants in non-credit seminars, workshops, conferences, and other events. The university's commitments to teaching, research, and public service are often met by a variety of non-credit events coordinated by Conferences and Non-Credit Programs. Conference professionals manage all details related to planning, promotion, and on-site coordination, and they maintain strict university and state standards of fiscal responsibility.

Responsible for administering and managing K-State credit programming and coordinating conferences and non-credit programs.
Distance Education Programs

Offered to students who are separated geographically from their instructors for a major portion of the learning enterprise. Courses are offered through a combination of media including online, printed course materials, audiotapes, videotapes, and teleconferences (audio, video, or computer). Some courses include face-to-face sessions.
Fort Riley Program

K-State works in cooperation with the Army Education Center to provide both military personnel and civilians in and near the Fort Riley community with the opportunity to take university courses, and to deliver distance courses to military personnel around the world. Courses are scheduled to be convenient for Army personnel, are taught by K-State faculty members, and apply toward associate's, bachelor's, and master's degree requirements in several academic disciplines.
Intersession

K-State conducts an Intersession program during three major breaks in the academic year: in early January, in late May and early June, and in August. Includes regular and new or experimental courses, are offered by regular faculty.
Mail/Duplicating Center

Handles duplication of material for Division courses and conferences. All distribution of marketing pieces and handling of first-class mail is coordinated though this office, including coded mail, pre-sorted mail, and campus deliveries.

Public Information Office

Develops and distributes news releases about Division activities. Provides promotional assistance for all Division programs. Assistance is provided with brochure and newsletter development, media coverage, advertising, marketing, and mailing list identification and selection. Special promotional events such as educational fairs are also coordinated through this office.

Annually processes approximately 11,000 credit enrollments and over 23,000 non-credit registrations and develops and maintains associated academic and fiscal records.
TELENET 2

K-State offers a range of college credit courses in a number of fields via TELENET 2, the videoconferencing network. Students taking courses through TELENET 2 attend class at one of 33 permanent TELENET2 sites around Kansas, or they can phone into a class using the TELEbridge (telephone conferencing bridge).
TELENET 2 sites are equipped with speakers and microphones so students can hear and talk with instructors. Facilitators at each site proctor exams and assist students with registration, equipment, and mailings.
In addition, the TELENET 2 offers virtually unlimited teleconferencing capabilities with TELEbridge. It is used for instructional programming, such as foreign language and agricultural courses; training sessions; community workshops and programs; and administrative conferences.
